Healing & Perfecting

 

Healing is an important part of achieving beautiful long-term results.

 

Immediately after treatment your brows will appear darker and more defined. Over the following weeks they will soften as the skin heals and the colour settles.

 

A perfecting appointment is recommended approximately 6–8 weeks after your initial treatment to refine the shape and colour where required. This will be booked before you leave and will be charged separately.

Following your aftercare instructions is essential to achieving the best healed result.

Results vary depending on your skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure and aftercare, but most clients enjoy their cosmetic tattoo for 1–3 years before requiring a colour refresh.

​​​Will my brows be very dark?

 

Immediately after treatment they will appear darker than the healed result. This is completely normal and part of the healing process.

​​​Is there any downtime?

 

There is very little downtime. Your brows will go through a normal healing process over the following few weeks, and you’ll receive detailed aftercare instructions to help achieve the best possible result.

​​​Can everyone have cosmetic tattooing?

 

Unfortunately not. Certain medications, medical conditions, skin conditions and pregnancy or breastfeeding may make treatment unsuitable. Suitability will always be discussed during your consultation.

If you have previous brow tattooing, please send us clear photographs or book a consultation before scheduling your treatment.

 

Existing pigment may affect the colour, shape and technique we can safely achieve. In some cases, lightening or removal may be recommended before creating a new brow.
