IPL Skin & Hair Treatments
Pigmentation. Redness. Acne. Unwanted hair.
If your skin looks uneven, blotchy or flushed no matter what products you use, IPL is often the treatment that actually shifts it.
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) uses controlled light energy to target excess pigment and visible blood vessels while also stimulating collagen beneath the surface. It is one of the most effective non-surgical treatments for correcting sun damage and uneven tone with minimal downtime.
This is not a relaxing facial.
It is corrective.
And it works best when it is part of a structured plan.
IPL is used in clinic for both skin correction and long-term hair reduction - and often, clients end up doing both over time.
IPL Hair Removal
(laser alternative)
Looking for long-term hair reduction?
IPL works by targeting the pigment in the hair follicle and gradually slowing regrowth over a series of treatments.
Over time, hair becomes:
• finer
• slower to grow
• less dense
Common treatment areas include:
• underarms
• legs
• bikini
• face
• arms
Hair removal isn’t a one-off treatment - it’s a process.
But when done consistently, results are long lasting and low maintenance.
IPL for Pigmentation and Sun Damage
Best for:
• Brown spots
• Freckles
• Uneven tone
• Sun damage
• Post-inflammatory pigmentation
The light energy is absorbed by excess pigment in the skin. After treatment, pigment may darken slightly before gradually lifting over the following days.
Most clients require a series of treatments spaced approximately four weeks apart. Pigment that has built up over years does not disappear in one session. We treat progressively to create visible change while keeping the skin stable and healthy.
IPL for Redness
Best for:
• Diffuse redness
• Flushing
• Broken capillaries
IPL targets the blood vessels contributing to visible redness and helps calm overall tone over time.
Clients treating pigment often notice improvement in redness as a secondary benefit.
IPL for Acne
Best for:
• Inflammatory breakouts
• Ongoing congestion
• Post-acne redness
IPL helps reduce inflammatory activity within the skin and can support clearer healing. It is not a miracle cure for acne, but when used strategically alongside the right home care it can significantly improve control and overall clarity.
What To Expect
During treatment you will feel short pulses of warmth. Most clients tolerate it well.
After treatment you may notice:
• Mild redness similar to light sun exposure
• Temporary darkening of pigment before it lifts
• Slight warmth in the skin
Downtime is minimal. Strict SPF is essential.
How Many Sessions Will I Need?
Most clients require three to five sessions for visible improvement, sometimes more depending on the concern and how the skin responds.
Hair removal will often require 6-12 sessions for optimal results.
At your consultation we assess your skin properly and map out a realistic treatment plan. I do not throw out random numbers without seeing what we are working with first.
